Passive E-Learning Is a
Leadership Liability.

When your team faces a deteriorating casualty or an escalating incident, they won't rise to the occasion. They'll default to their training. If that training was a video and a quiz — you have a problem.

Videos Don't Build Muscle Memory

Watching someone perform a procedure is not the same as making decisions under pressure. Passive content creates passive responders.

Live Drills Are Too Infrequent

Multi-agency exercises happen twice a year at best. Incidents don't schedule themselves around your training calendar.

Compliance Won't Defend You

A ticked attendance box will not hold up in an inquiry. You need evidence of competence under pressure — not evidence of attendance.

Your Team Forgets 70% Within 30 Days.

The Ebbinghaus forgetting curve is not a theory — it's a measured reality. After mandatory training, competency begins decaying immediately. By the time the next renewal is due, your team is operating on instinct, not skill.

SIA Door Supervisor and Security Guard refreshers every 3 years. EFAW every 3 years. FAW+F forestry first aid every 3 years. GWO BST every 2 years. That's years of skill decay between each touchpoint.

SectorSMART fills the gap with continuous scenario-based reinforcement and Smart Guides — keeping competency above the critical threshold between mandatory renewals.

Proprietary Technology

The SMART Simulation Engine

A completely proprietary approach to operational training. Our simulation engine responds to your personnel's decisions in real-time as they work through high-pressure clinical and tactical scenarios.

Every decision has consequences. Every hesitation is measured. Every outcome is recorded.

This isn't e-learning with better graphics. This is a fundamentally different category of training technology.

Step 2
Decisions cascade with real consequences
Step 3

Output
Competence score + detailed performance evidence

Built for Consequence,
Not Convenience.

Every feature exists because it solves a real operational training problem. Nothing here is filler.

Consequence-Driven Scenarios

Every decision has real consequences. No resets. No do-overs. The pressure is real — because the training has to be.

Structured Post-Scenario Debrief

After every scenario, a structured debrief surfaces the decisions made, the hesitation points and the gaps to close — written by responders, not generated on the fly.

Performance Evidence & Records

Timestamped records of competence under pressure. Every decision, every response time, every outcome — recorded and exportable. Evidence-led, built for regulatory transparency.

Wellbeing & Duty of Care

Integrated welfare tracking after every simulation. Automated alerts, linked crisis resources, and a defensible welfare audit trail — because training should be safe too.

Six Modules. A Fundamentally
Different Approach.

Each module solves a problem the industry hasn't prioritised. We'd tell you more — but we'd rather show you.

Module 01
BleedSMART
Flagship
"The one nobody else has built yet."
A proprietary approach to recording what matters most — generating detailed performance evidence that goes beyond anything currently available.
Module 02
AirwaySMART
"Because hesitation has consequences."
Real-time decision pressure where seconds define outcomes. The gap between knowing and doing — closed.
Module 03
BreathingSMART
"What you can't see can kill."
Assessment under ambiguity. No vital signs handed to you. Work for it — like you would on scene.
Module 04
CirculationSMART
"The cascade nobody trains for."
Systemic thinking when everything is happening at once. Train the response your team defaults to under pressure.
Module 05
DisabilitySMART
"The assessment everyone rushes."
Forced prioritisation under cognitive load. The step that separates trained from untrained — exposed.
Module 06
ExposureSMART
"What gets missed, gets missed forever."
The final check that separates competent from catastrophic. Train the discipline that saves the second life.

Every module generates detailed training performance evidence. Every interaction is recorded. Every decision is measured.

See It Behind Closed Doors

A Library That Teaches the
Hard Decisions, Not the Easy Ones.

Branching scenarios across our active industries, written by responders who have run the calls. Every scenario forces a real decision, measures hesitation, and ends with a debrief that names what went well and what didn't. The library is not a content dump — it's the spine of the platform, and it grows.

Depth

Decisions, not multiple choice.

Each scenario branches on the choices your operative actually has to make on shift. Wrong calls cascade. Hesitation costs. The debrief tells the story of why.

Breadth

Three industries. One discipline.

Trauma management for fire & rescue. Door supervision, conflict, safeguarding and Martyn's Law procedures for security. Chainsaw, remote casualty and FISA-aligned drills for forestry. Six clinical SMART modules layered on top.

Pressure

Time, ambiguity, consequence.

Time-pressured phases, confidence-calibrated answers, multi-role and shift-simulation scenarios. METHANE and ETHANE major-incident comms drills, plus CLEARER structured-report exercises for security. The discipline is the same: train under pressure, prove it under audit.

The library is added to continuously. Every new scenario lands inside the same scoring, debrief and evidence framework as the rest of the platform — there is no second-class content.

Operating Guides Your Officers
Read, Acknowledge, and Stand Behind.

Smart Guides sit alongside the scenario library — the operating documentation your security officers, stewards and door supervisors actually need to work to. Each guide is read, digitally acknowledged, and tied to the same evidence trail as the scenarios. The result: a workforce that has seen the guidance, signed for it, and trained against it.

Read

Guides written for the role.

Door supervision, static guarding, event stewarding, CCTV awareness, conflict and safeguarding. Each guide is theme-styled for dark mode and on-shift reading, with print versions watermarked "UNCONTROLLED COPY" so the version of record stays inside the platform.

Acknowledge

Digital acknowledge, version-pinned.

Officers read the guide and digitally acknowledge against a specific version. The record is stored against the user, the version they signed, and the time they signed it — feeding into the same training record as their scenario performance.

Self-Assess

Submit to your line manager.

Selected guides include built-in self-assessment workflows. The officer completes their reflection, saves a draft, and submits to a line manager for review — annual CPD tracking is built in. Manager review and return is a single click.

Aligned to your obligations

Smart Guides map to the same framework set as the scenario library — SIA Door Supervisor and Security Guard Level 2 specs, Spectator Safety, ACT, NaCTSO, BS 7499 / 7960 / 8406 / 7958 / 10800, EFAW and the public protection procedure obligations under the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025. The mapping is built into the guide on upload. We don't tell you how. We just make sure the alignment is there.

Everything You Need to Know
About SectorSMART.

What is SectorSMART?

SectorSMART is a UK scenario training platform purpose-built for high-risk industries. Unlike traditional e-learning, our proprietary SMART Simulation Engine creates consequence-driven scenarios where every decision matters. The platform serves fire & rescue, security and forestry — with Smart Guides, structured post-scenario debrief and performance evidence records aligned to the qualification frameworks the regulated workforce operates inside. Wind Energy is coming soon.

Which industries does SectorSMART support?

SectorSMART has three live industry verticals: Fire & Rescue (trauma management, incident command, METHANE / SHOPRIM, JESIP), Security (SIA Door Supervisor and Security Guard Level 2, Spectator Safety Level 2, ACT, NaCTSO, BS 7499 / 7960 / 8406 / 7958 / 10800, Martyn's Law staff preparedness) and Forestry (FISA 805, NPTC chainsaw qualifications CS30–CS41, FAW+F, remote casualty care). Wind Energy is in development and will follow. Each industry has tailored scenario libraries and Smart Guides.

How is SectorSMART different from traditional e-learning?

Traditional e-learning relies on videos and quizzes — passive content that creates passive responders. SectorSMART is fundamentally different. Our scenario engine responds to your personnel's decisions in real-time as they work through high-pressure clinical and tactical scenarios. Every decision has consequences. Every hesitation is measured. Every outcome is recorded. This builds genuine decision-making capability — not just theoretical knowledge.

What is the skill fade problem?

The Ebbinghaus forgetting curve shows that personnel forget up to 70% of training within 30 days. With renewals often 2-3 years apart (SIA Door Supervisor and Security Guard refreshers every 3 years, EFAW every 3 years, FAW+F forestry first aid every 3 years, GWO BST every 2 years), competency decays dramatically between touchpoints. SectorSMART fills this gap with continuous scenario-based reinforcement and Smart Guides, keeping competency above the critical threshold between renewals.

What are the SMART Modules?

The SMART Module Suite consists of six specialist training modules following the DR<C>ABCDE clinical assessment framework: BleedSMART (haemorrhage control), AirwaySMART (airway management), BreathingSMART (breathing assessment), CirculationSMART (circulatory assessment), DisabilitySMART (neurological assessment), and ExposureSMART (exposure assessment). Each module generates detailed training performance evidence.

How does SectorSMART support the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025?

The Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025 (commonly referred to as Martyn's Law) requires qualifying premises to have public protection procedures in place covering evacuation, invacuation, lockdown and communication, and for staff to be made aware of those procedures. SectorSMART provides scenario-based training and Smart Guides mapped to those staff preparedness obligations, helping operatives practise procedural decision-making under pressure. All training generates timestamped performance records for regulatory transparency. The platform is designed for the regulated workforce; it is not accredited or endorsed by the SIA, NaCTSO or the Home Office.

Is SectorSMART ready for the SIA qualification review?

The SIA launched its most significant qualification overhaul in November 2025, with new specifications expected in summer 2026 and new qualifications going live from autumn 2026. SectorSMART's security vertical is being built in alignment with the areas flagged for expansion — including the competency demands introduced by the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025. We are tracking the guidance closely and designing for where the regulatory framework is going. Contact us for a confidential preview.

What are the Security Smart Guides?

Smart Guides are the operating documentation your security workforce needs to actually work to — door supervision, static guarding, event stewarding, CCTV awareness, conflict, safeguarding and the public protection procedures under the Terrorism (Protection of Premises) Act 2025. Each guide is read on shift, digitally acknowledged against a specific version, and tied to the same evidence trail as scenario performance. Selected guides include built-in self-assessment workflows that submit to a line manager for annual CPD review.

Is SectorSMART GDPR compliant and UK-hosted?

Yes. SectorSMART is 100% UK-built and UK-hosted. The platform is fully GDPR compliant with comprehensive data protection controls, full audit logging, data subject access request support, and consent management built in. Your data never leaves the UK.

Does SectorSMART integrate with our existing systems?

SectorSMART is enterprise-ready with support for Single Sign-On (SSO) via Azure AD, Google, and generic OIDC providers. The platform also supports Learning Record Store (LRS) integration via xAPI for feeding training data into your existing LMS, webhook notifications for real-time event integration, and multi-site organisational management. The platform is offline-capable and works on any device.

Your next incident won't wait.
Neither should your training.
